Reading
Journals to be in school every day with your child's reading book. Your child will be given two reading books, one from their phonics lesson which they should be able to read, and one of their choice to be enjoyed at home. Encourage your child to read to you daily. Studies stipulate that reading for pleasure not only improves literacy skills but also maths and other areas of the curriculum.
PE
PE kit to be worn to school on Wednesday and Thursday for Bay Class, Fir Class and Elm Class.
